Top Marketing Tools You Should be Using

We're all about sharing the love at BONDS which is why this week we've put together a list of our top 5 essential digital marketing tools. Whether you are looking to manage your customer relationships, uncover new opportunities or simply make your life easier, if your business is not using these tools you could be missing out!

Google Analytics
It goes without saying that Google Analytics is the number one tool which every marketeer will be using. Powered by Google (obviously), Google Analytics is a platform that collects data from your website(s) and generates reports that will provide valuable insights into your business... and it's free. You can see where your website visitors are coming from, understand user behaviour, discover what content is performing and much, much more.

At BONDS Digital Marketing, we provide regular reports for our clients to see how well their website is performing. We track useful data so that we can make improvements and ultimately maximise your business' potential.

Chimp

MailChimp
A household name in Marketing, Mailchimp was launched in 2001 and is the most widely used email platform to date. You may have seen their branding on trains, billboards and other means of offline advertising. Mailchimp enables organisations to create personalised email campaigns that can be sent to their database. Mailchimp does offer a free plan with access to standard email templates and detailed reporting. However, the main caveat of this free plan is that these emails will be branded by Mailchimp. We recommend getting a paid plan for sure and they offer affordable pricing tiers based on the amount of contacts you have.

HubSpot
Whilst we're on the topic of email campaigns, another system which can be used for Email Marketing is HubSpot. This is a primarily a free CRM system (up to 2000 contacts) which offers a variety of functions suitable for sales and marketing. HubSpot provides a customer database enabling businesses to keep all of their data in one place. Another advantage is that you can have several users under one account. We find that a centralised database allows us to easily track our projects and customer data.

Canva
Find you lack creativity? Canva is a graphic design app that doesn't require extensive graphic design experience. Whilst there are more sophisticated systems powered by companies such as Adobe, Canva is very user-friendly and provides a variety of templates which can be used for social media, creating booklets and other marketing collateral. Canva is also budget-friendly, providing a free version for those looking to dip their toe into Canva's water.

Hootsuite

Ever heard the saying "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail"? Hootsuite is one of the most highly-rated social media management softwares out there. Having Hootsuite as a software will allow you to plan and schedule social media campaigns with no trouble. Whilst a lot of social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. have implemented the function to schedule posts, it'd be pretty time consuming to go into each platform and individually schedule social media posts. Hootsuite allows you to also monitor performance of all your social media platforms in one place and its capabilities are vast.
